Luke Shaw to Be Replaced By Celtic Kieran Tierney
Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Celtic defender Kieran Tierney and are confident of agreeing a £10million deal for the Scotland international.
Jose Mourinho is expected to reform his defence this summer with Luke Shaw, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind all likely to leave in full-back areas.
Tierney signed a new six-year deal at Celtic Park last summer but the Bhoys will allow him to move south of the border if United present the right deal.
According to the Mirror, United are making plans for Tierney’s arrival and believe they could bag him for as little as £10m.
Tierney is adept at left-back and right-back, while he’s also been used on occasion as an inside left centre-back in a back three.
Shaw has one year remaining on his deal at Old Trafford but he’s failed to convince Mourinho that he has a long-term future at the club and will be sold to the highest bidder.
