How did you celebrate the world egg day
Eggs have been part of
food consumed by both young and old people almost every day around the world,
in both developed and developing countries. Eggs are majorly eaten and enjoyed
by children where it is either fried or cooked and packaged in their lunch box.
They are eaten with bread, rice and very commonly, yam. They are an
excellent, affordable source of high quality protein, with the potential to
feed the world.
In 1996, the first World Egg Day was
celebrated during its establishment at the IEC Vienna conference and it was
decided to be celebrated every second Friday of October in each year and since
then there has been a variety of wonderful events taking place worldwide. This
year’s World Egg Day falls yesterday October 14, 2016.
