Mohamed Salah to start against Manchester City
Mohamed Salah is on track to start against Manchester City on Tuesday night in Liverpool’s Champions League decider at the Etihad.
Liverpool take a 3-0 lead to Manchester after goals from Salah, Sadio Mane and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the first leg.
Salah was instrumental in a stunning first-half display at Anfield, but hobbled off the pitch early in the second period.
The Egyptian then missed Liverpool’s weekend fixture against Everton, but was back in training with the rest of the first-team on Monday.
Liverpool trained at Melwood and Salah joined the rest of the team-mates for the final session before the City showdown.
With supporters speculating Salah had shaken off the groin injury, the prolific goalscorer hinted he was indeed fully fit with a post-training post.
