Manchester United to sell Anthony Martial on one condition
Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for next season and must hand in a transfer request to force through a summer exit.
The Frenchman was unhappy with his lack of playing time in the second half of last season and called off contract talks with the club following Alexis Sanchez’s arrival from Arsenal.
Chelsea, Tottenham and Juventus are all keen on signing Martial and he’s open to leaving Old Trafford if he finds regular first-team football elsewhere.
Martial’s not always seen eye-to-eye with Mourinho at the Theatre of Dreams but the Manchester Evening News claim Mourinho wants to keep the France international.
Martial is believed to be considering his future but as yet has not informed the club that he wants to leave.
Mourinho is said to have instructed United that only those who ask to leave can be sold and he plans on keeping Martial next term.
The Frenchman was left out of Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the World Cup and will therefore travel with United to their tour of the United States.
