Just in: DSS storms Lagos EFCC office, blocks officials from accessing building

 

The Department of the State Security Service, DSS, has been accused of barring employees from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from entering their office in Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to a source who did not want to be identified, the DSS blocked the entire structure and stationed an armored tank in front of it. "They even stationed an armored tank just to scare us away," the person was quoted as saying.

According to accounts, both entities have been at odds about the ownership of the building.

At the time of writing, all EFCC officials at the office on Awolowo Road in Ikoyi were barred from entering the premises by SSS officials.
