Seun Kuti, an afrobeat singer, took to social media on Friday, May 26 to reflect on his time in police custody.
Remember that the controversial musician was arrested on May 15 after turning himself in to police. Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police, had ordered his arrest on May 13 after a video of him slapping a police officer leaked online.
Seun was arrested and arraigned in court, and he remained in police custody until Tuesday, May 24, when he was freed on bail.
Seun claimed on his Instagram page that putting him on the hard floor with inmates was far better for him than sitting in the "devils house with politicians."
