The current and future monarchs of Britain are shown in a new coronation portrait (images).

 New coronation photographs of King Charles III, his son Prince William, and his grandson Prince George of Wales are available thanks to Buckingham Palace.

When the late Queen Elizabeth posed with her three generations of successors in 2020 to mark the start of the new decade, that was the last time something similar was made public.

 

Hugo Burnand, a society photographer, captured this image of the King last Saturday after the coronation. He is seated in the Throne Room while wearing the Imperial State Crown, Robe of Estate, and Sceptre with Cross.

 

The King and Queen are seen with their Pages of Honor and the Ladies in Attendance in a second official portrait that has been issued.

Those pictured (from left to right) are Ralph Tollemache, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Nicholas Barclay, Prince George, the Marchioness of Lansdowne, King Charles III, Queen Camilla, her sister Annabel Elliot, her grandson Freddy Parker Bowles, her great-nephew Arthur Elliot, and her grandsons Gus and Louis Lopes are all shown in the photo (from left to right).
