American Youtuber, Kai Cenat, Set To Build School For Makoko Children
Popular American streamer and YouTuber, Kai Cenat, has announced plans to build a school for children in the floating slums of Makoko, an informal settlement in Lagos, Nigeria.
Kai Cenat made this known during a recent livestream, sharing insights from his visit to Nigeria earlier this month.
As you know, Kai Cenat was in Nigeria a few days ago and was welcomed by a popular skit maker, Shank comics, who showed him around Nigeria, particularly the city of Lagos.
During his time in Nigeria, Shank has taken Cenat to visit a school in the slum of Makoko where he promised to do anything the school said they might need to make their classrooms more comfortable and conducive for the pupils. The excited pupils joyfully clapped for him, thanking him.
Meanwhile, Kai Cenat was filmed having fun as Shank took him around several places in Lagos. Nevertheless, Grammy-nominated superstar Davido assumed the responsibility of hosting, providing Kai Cenat with a more extensive tour of the vibrant city of Lagos.
While livestreaming, Cenat passionately discussed his experiences in Makoko and emphasized the urgent need to offer educational opportunities to the children living in this community.
He announced that plans for the school are already in progress and emphasized the importance of collaboration to realize this vision.
“I have set the ball rolling on plans to build a good school in Makoko for the kids living there,” Cenat said.
He proceeded to urge individuals with pertinent connections in construction and equipment procurement to step forward and contribute to the initiative.
