Talks Held- £204,000-Per-Week Boss Willing to Approve Man Utd Move
According to media sources, Thomas Tuchel is open to joining Manchester United in order to take Erik ten Hag's job at Old Trafford.
The German manager led Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga championship the previous season and won the Champions League with Chelsea.
But the Kaiser has already declared that, come the end of the current season, he will be quitting the Bavarians.
The former Dortmund manager is reportedly interested in joining Manchester United, and he has already had preliminary discussions with the Premier League's biggest clubs, according to Kicker (via Die Welt).
In a similar vein, Christian Falk, Head of Football at Bild/Sport Bild, has also declared that Tuchel would be open to joining Manchester United. On X, he penned.
"Man Utd now expressed interest in Thomas Tuchel as well. In the summer, Tuchel would be up for a fresh challenge and has a strong interest in Manchester United.
The 50-year-old manager wants to concentrate on the games that are left to play. Bayern has advanced to the Champions League semifinals despite losing the league championship to Leverkusen.
If Tuchel joins Manchester United, who will require a miracle to qualify for the tournament, he probably won't participate in Europe's top championship the following season.
At the Allianz, he earns approximately £204,000 a week, making him one of the highest paid coaches in the world of football.
