Rapper Lil Tjay arrested in connection with Offset Shooting

Lil Tjay has been arrested in connection with an incident surrounding the shooting of Offset in Florida.

According to authorities, Lil Tjay was taken into custody on Monday evening and booked into Broward County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct-affray. Police said the 24-year-old was involved in a fight prior to the shooting incident. He was later released on a $500 bond.

The Seminole Police Department confirmed that a second individual was detained at the scene, though no additional charges have been announced at this time.

The incident occurred near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where Offset was reportedly shot. His representative confirmed that he was taken to hospital and is in stable condition, adding that he is “fine” but remains under medical observation.

Police stated that the shooting took place in the hotel’s valet area, where one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment. Authorities also noted that two individuals were detained as part of the ongoing investigation, and that there is no continuing threat to the public, with hotel operations returning to normal.

Lil Tjay’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, issued a statement addressing reports linking her client directly to the shooting. She clarified that Lil Tjay was neither shot nor charged in connection with the shooting itself, describing such claims as false.
