The French Football Federation (FFF) has officially appointed Zinedine Zidane as the new head coach of the France national team on a contract running until 2030.

Zidane succeeds Didier Deschamps, who stepped down following France's campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, ending a highly successful tenure that included winning the 2018 World Cup and reaching multiple major tournament finals.
