mourinho delighted as united edges closer to diogo signing
Portugal’s U21 international Diogo Dalot is reportedly linked with a move to Premier League side, Manchester United this summer. The highly rated 19-year-old fullback, who plies his trade with Porto according to Sky sources, currently has a €20m (£17.4m) release clause in his present contract that is due to expire next summer. And this has subsequently alerted Manchester United alongside some of Europe's big spending clubs to consider move for the defender.
The report further hinted that Red Devils’ boss, Jose Mourinho is reportedly searching for a right-back in the transfer market that will push Antonio Valencia for a starting place in United's starting line-up, as Matteo Darmian's future at Old Trafford is yet to be sorted. The Porto academy product who won the U17 Euros with Portugal in 2016, made his first-team Porto debut back in February, looks good to depart the Estadio Dragao for Manchester United’s Old Trafford where compatriot and former Porto boss Mourinho is at the helms of affairs.
