Man charged with raping 10 year old girl who had to travel to a different state to have abortion
A man has been charged after two times conceding to assaulting a 10-year-old young lady and getting her pregnant.
Gershon Fuentes carried out the sexual assault on the youthful casualty in Ohio, and she needed to venture out from Ohio to Indiana for an abortion in view of an adjustment of the abortion law by the Supreme Court.
Ohio, a Republican controlled state, prohibited abortion only hours after the Supreme Court casted a ballot to upset Roe v Wade.
Fuentes was captured on Tuesday, July 12 and has been charged of rape.
The young lady's mom reported what had occurred on June 22 and she was alluded to children's services in Franklin County.
The young lady went to Indianapolis on June 30 to have the abortion.
DNA tests are being taken from the embryo to affirm that Fuentes was the attacker.
Judge Cynthia Ebner said she was holding him on a $2 million bail to safeguard the young lady and in light of the fact that he could attempt to escape the country.
US President Joe Biden talked about the case prior to signing an executive order pointed toward safeguarding access to abortion.
He said: 'A 10-year-old girl should be forced to give birth to a rapist’s child? Does anyone believe it’s Ohio’s majority view that that should not be able to be dealt with?'
